Description: This dataset contains the Florida subset of the FAA's National Airspace System Resource Aeronautical Data Product. This dataset is a geographic point database of aircraft landing facilities in the state of Florida. Attribute data is provided on the physical and operational characteristics of the landing facility, current usage including enplanements and aircraft operations, congestion levels and usage categories. This geospatial data is derived from the FAA's National Airspace System Resource Aeronautical Data Product.
Description: This dataset contains the locations of Federal Aviation Administration known obstructions. The Digital Obstacle File (DOF) is a listing of verified and unverified obstacles in the U.S. with limited coverage of the Pacific, the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas. The obstacles are assigned unique alphanumerical identifiers and are listed in order by ascending latitude within each state or country. The Digital Obstacle File, from which this layer was created, contains only obstruction data for those man-made objects which affect domestic aeronautical charting products and does not purport to indicate the presence of all obstructions which may be encountered. PLEASE NOTE: In the interest of air safety, the Digital Obstacle File depicts both "verified" and "unverified" obstruction data. A verified obstruction is indicated by an "O" in the Verification Status field. This data has either been reviewed by the FAA's Aeronautical Information Services (AIS), Obstacle Data Team (ODT) or has been taken from airport survey data. Verified obstacles have been assigned an accuracy code, indicating the reliability of its vertical height and horizontal position. An unverified obstruction is indicated by a "U" in the Verification Status field. This data is considered unreliable because its position and height have not been verified by the ODT.
Description: This dataset contains runway locations in the state of Florida. The Runways dataset is updated every 28 days from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Runways database contains runways in the United States and US territories containing information on the physical characteristics of the runways. This data layer contains runways that have corresponding and reported runways ends, and the linear feature of the runway could be created based off these points. The runways in the dataset are associated with the airports dataset on NTAD, showing runways for all official and operational aerodromes. This geospatial data is derived from the FAA's National Airspace System Resource Aeronautical Data. Please Note: This dataset is a snapshot of a dynamic database (20241101) and the information was downloaded on 20241104. This dataset is an update to the FGDL line layer RUNWAY_2020.

Description: This dataset contains aviation facilities boundary information for the State of Florida. Aviation facilities include, but are not limited to; airports, heliports, seaplane bases, etc. This dataset contains fields denoting the physical address, and contact information for aviation facilities located in Florida. This data is meant to be used for planning purposes only and is not intended to represent a 100% inventory of aviation facilities. Aviation facilities locations that have been verified are marked with the letter V in the FLAG field.
